The Challenge
We Signed Up For
Second Life isn’t just a virtual world, it’s a living, breathing universe of connection. Linden Lab came to us with a bold ask: capture that essence in a way that felt visceral, cinematic, and human.
Our challenge? Make something that feels as big, surreal, and connective as the platform itself.

Production,
With Purpose
To capture the surreal motion we envisioned, we used the Phantom Flex 4K paired with a robotic arm. This ultra high-speed camera gave us sharp, cinematic slow-motion shots that brought every scene to life with clarity and impact.
Every costume and makeup detail was designed specifically for this production. From concept sketches to the final stitch, each character was carefully constructed to reflect the symbolic themes of identity, transformation, and connection.
With a four-day shoot, custom sets, and a massive crew, this project was one of the most ambitious productions in Levitate’s history.
This wasn’t just a set, it was a build. Effects, lighting design, and motion all worked together to bring Second Life’s abstract metaphor to life, creating an experience as layered and nuanced as the virtual world it represents.
